Little Ripples is guided by people who bring lived experience, professional expertise and a shared belief that no child should face a family cancer diagnosis without support.
Founder & Volunteer CEO
Little Ripples began with Keri's own experience. In early 2025, aged 37, she was diagnosed with stage one, grade 3 breast cancer while living alone with her two daughters, then aged nine and four.
Her first thought was not for herself, but for her children, and how she would explain what was happening to them. Looking for guidance, she found kindness and compassion, but very little structured support designed for children facing a parent's cancer diagnosis.
That gap is why Little Ripples exists. Keri is the Founder and CEO, driven by the belief that when cancer happens in a family, the ripples reach far beyond the patient.
Keri brings over 14 years' experience in the charity sector, leading UK-wide programmes for children, families and communities facing disability and social disadvantage.
Since founding Little Ripples, Keri has registered the charity as a CIO (June 2026), built its governance, and is developing partnerships across the NHS, local government and the voluntary sector. She places lived experience, accessibility and equity at the centre of the charity's resources and services, so that what Little Ripples offers is shaped by the families it is for.

Carla has spent 23 years ensuring children, young people and families shape the services they receive, working up to director level across early support, disability, health and bereavement. She joins Little Ripples with a deep commitment to lived experience and a genuine passion for making sure children feel truly heard.

James brings over 15 years of senior marketing and media strategy experience, currently leading international campaigns at Burberry. His expertise in digital, data and communications helps ensure Little Ripples reaches the families who need us most. He lives in Windsor with his wife and young daughter.

Anthony is a life sciences and marketing specialist with more than 15 years across healthcare, clinical research and medical innovation, helping organisations turn complex health topics into clear, accessible engagement. Through his own experience and close friends affected by cancer, he understands how deeply illness touches a whole family.

Maria has spent over 20 years in cancer medicines, most recently as a UK Board member at Johnson & Johnson, and brings strong experience in governance, safeguarding and strategic planning. After losing her husband to cancer in 2024, she is committed to ensuring children feel supported and never alone.

Jari is a London-based strategic advisor and lawyer who has held senior roles in the Finnish Government and served as a Board Director at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. He brings rigorous governance experience, an international perspective and a personal commitment to families facing difficult times.

Alex is a programmes and operations leader with over 20 years delivering social impact in the UK and internationally, currently Director of Development at Screen Share UK. Her career spans the British Council, UNHCR and UNICEF, and she is especially motivated by supporting children and families through difficult times.

Emma is a senior PR and communications consultant with 17+ years across the charity and not-for-profit sectors, and co-founder of Indie Comms. She lost her father to cancer at 16, and in 2021 her husband was diagnosed the week before their wedding. She knows first-hand how cancer moves through a family.

Will is a commercially focused finance professional, admitted Australian lawyer and qualified Chartered Accountant, with experience across global brands including McDonald's, Telstra and Coles. He joins the board believing children and families should always have access to the care and support they need to thrive.

Rachel is an Operations Director at a Greater Manchester manufacturing business, working towards Chartered Manager status. Her mum was diagnosed with cancer when Rachel was a child, so she understands first-hand how far its impact reaches and how it shapes a child long after treatment ends. That is why she became a founding trustee.
